Simple Woman's Daybook ~ 7/20/2009

For Today...

Outside my Window...is the start of a beautiful summer sunset.

I am thinking...that it's a beautiful evening to take a walk.

From the learning rooms...there is quiet, but there will soon be the start of a new school year...so exciting!

I am thankful for...a neighbor who drives the bus to VBS so I don't have to go back and forth each night this week!

From the kitchen...will be PBJ's for dinner tonight...I'm too tired for anything fancier.

I am wearing...a long linen skirt, a comfy white t-shirt, and bare feet

I am reading...The Shack by Wm. Paul Young

I am hoping...that hubby gets off of work early tonight.

I am creating...a curtain for Jack's room, some pillows, and some re-painted furniture

I am hearing...Addison dropping pennies into the piggy bank and Jack playing with his big car.

Around the house...
things are pretty pulled together, but I should fold a load of laundry and load the dishwasher.

One of my favorite things...is going to bed at night, knowing that each of my children is healthy and safely tucked into their beds.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...lunch with a friend tomorrow, my 20-week ultrasound, some sewing and painting projects, school planning, and a little shopping.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

My kids playing in the pouring rain this week...doesn't that look delightful?

Blessings!
Brandi

My son looked forward to the rain so he could go out & splash about in the puddles .... it's a different story now - the rain might mess up his hair, lol.

I love sunsets :)

Have a great week.

God Bless,
Elena :)

I remember how much fun it was to play during and after it rained...those were the good ol' days.
