The Simple Woman's Daybook...8/25

For Today...

Outside my Window...looks a little bit like some much needed rain!

I am thinking...that there are so many things to do today, and just not quite enough time ~ but that's okay because I'm learning that I cannot do it all!

From the learning rooms...it's supposed to be our first day of school, but Benjamin is still in bed at 9:00 with a fever...maybe we'll be starting tomorrow instead.

I am thankful for...Benjamin's presence in the house today after a long week without him.

From the kitchen...the fridge is calling out to me for a good cleaning!

I am wearing...my favorite comfy sweatpants and t-shirt, barefeet, and my hair up in a scrunchy...it's a lazy kind of morning.

I am reading...nothing, just preparing for the school year this week

I am hoping...that my son feels better soon.

I am creating...photo albums from the summer and quilted curtains for my french doors.

I am hearing...box fans, roosters crowing, cartoons, Addy saying "up me, up me!" because she wants to sit on my lap, and Jack just waking up for the morning.

Around the house...all is peaceful and relaxed, although there are many things to catch up on today after a weekend out of town.

One of my favorite things...is fat-free French Vanilla creamer in my morning coffee.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Jack's 4 month dr. appointment with shots :0(, starting school, organizing loads of books, and getting my new blog up and running.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

I enjoyed visiting. My daughter too is sick with a fever today. Hopefully tomorrow she will be over this and life will go as normal. Your new blog will look awesome once it is up and running so good luck to you and have a glorious day.

I hope your children do not all get a fever. A few blogs I have visited seem to have one child with a fever. Your location sounds lovely.
